It’s been revealed that Sean Bean will be serving as the star of the very first Elusive Target mission in Hitman 2. In the mission, Bean will playing another assassin by the name of Mark Faba. As a former MI5 agent, Faba is highly capable and knowledgeable when it comes to the shadowy world he and Agent 47 live in. He’s a man that lives for the details, and won’t be easily fooled if his trailer is any indication.
For his part, it seems Bean is quite enthusiastic about his role in the upcoming game. “I’m thrilled to be a part of the upcoming HITMAN 2 video game,” said Bean. “It’s always exciting to take on a new role, and I’m looking forward to everyone seeing my character in action when the mission launches.”
As for what exactly “elusive targets” are, they’re high-stakes contracts that are only available for a limited amount of time and can only be undertaken once. Success will bring in great rewards, but failure means having to watch the target escape with no chance of pursuing them. Players will need to bring their A-Game if they want to successfully eliminate Sean Bean’s character.
Hitman 2 launches for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 13. Check out our preview of the new Ghost Mode for a better idea of what the game offers players beyond its campaign.
